Me? No.

Me, no, I haven't thought of anything yet.

But BALABALA BAMBALUNA has, including some terrific drawings by Alfred Kubin, of whom I was trying to think.

A.K., author of "Die Andere Seite" and I have spent all day trying to remember his name and/or the name of his book. Only took two minutes once I had the "Alfred".

I am fifty years and two weeks old, these things used just to happen in a flash and without fail. Now I get anxious.

I am not nor ever will be Immortal, but there is something bad about losing one's grip on the thing. My cold dead hands, indeed.

All day. Oh god.

Well, I like the penciled ones the best. It was bad enough coming to terms with 40 - but 50!, I deeply sympathise.
Already my brain is not what it used to be. And I feel the pressure of so many things left undone.

But hey - there's always death to look forward to. I hear it is beautiful (see post).

Hungers-not?

As for dying, I might just sign up for this Gregor Schneider and die for him 'live' in his Art Gallery.

An unlimited supply of Famous Old Grouse and the chance to get off my drunkbed and attempt Macbeth; Lear; 'New York New York'; smelling of stale piss --- I can do that, gissajob.
