Bass Riffs

MadDog has a Top Twenty Bass Riffs - still listening to them, but heading to the top of the charts with a bullet has to be the Allegretto from Beethoven's 7th...

Two things you would never forgive your ex-wife for doing either:
1) Taking all the photographs, all of them
2) Taking your set of Beethoven's symphonies conducted by Gardiner
while you are at work and she's "just taking away my last few things".

Chertz: Glad you are listening to the bass riffs although I suspect you have more refined tastes. I'm quite low brow really. I like tomato ketchup, too.

And on the subject of the ex, I had to take her back to court to get the family photos and I still don't have them all yet. She also got the Quad hi-fi and Thiel speakers and my Mahler LPs. Oh well...

From others I know, women always think they have the right to all the family photos and are the only ones who will cherish them.

In some cases they are right, anyone who wants the photos of my ugly kids is welcome to them.

Those are legitimate things to not forgive her for, but in defense of the women, we're not all that bad. I would have left you a picture or two. I probably would have taken the knives though.

I'd have just got the photos copied and saved us both the hassle of court expenses.
And Chertz - I'd have left you the Beethoven (and the Inspector Morse video tapes).

MadDog: I go for tomato sauce with everything and have a 45 of Plastic Bertrand doing "Ca plane pour moi", and that's one of the less embarrassing. So refined isn't in it. Pretentious, yes, I love it.

The ex insisted when I mentioned it that I had taken away 16 years of her life etc etc and I coulnd't be bothered with a trip to the courts. Self-righteous is the phrase that occurred. Sort of. But women, eh Mr X, women. Scratching out faces or cutting people out of photos also seems to be more of a woman thing.

O'Hara, WickedRed, I'd have offered an impressive fee if you'd been around to act as Agents... as it is I just gave up in despair. Maybe next time?

How impressive a fee?
