Personal Blogging

I found that whenever a 100W light-bulb went in my flat, it also blew the main fuse.

So I tried 60W - but when the first one blew, the same thing happened.

So I've decided to go back to 100W.

Interestingly

Readers: What part of "interesting" is it you don't understand?

The picture is of the "pioneer" or "pilot" bore for the Eisenhower Memorial Bore in Colorado

Readers: Spare us.

I read yesterday (research after watching Indian Jones)that the Ark of The Covenent was exactly that, an arc light powered by batteries used to mystify the masses.

There have been several "reports" that the ancients could generate electricity and unlike a lot of this Atlantis guff, give the relative simplicity of the science, it is actually believable.

I am sure this has something to do with your thread when I started but I have forgotten what.

I used to play tennis.

I think it must have, I am very impressed at the possibility of the Ark being a battery of some sort with big sparks jumping between the angels on top and clearly that was at the back of my mind while I was Boring away.

Tennis, eh? I played a game once. Badminton was more "me", being gurly and all that.

Er.. yeah. That happens at our house too. Exactly the same thing. Synchronicity and all that.
Which I am sure also has something to do with electricity.

I occasionally jump on a trampoline.

A thought.
I probably did not have to add the um.. verb, jump.
Although maybe it was necessary as I am sure there are plenty of other things to do on trampolines, although I haven't actually done them.

And there's another thought...

I don't go with any of this equipment stuff, it takes hours to set up and if you bought it from Ann Summers it breaks down immediately.

Give it to me straight and simple - a cup of tea and a good book.

Waaah "poineer" for "pioneer". Took me a while to get there, didn't it.

A cup of tea and a good book is usually the best option.

A nice comfy cardigan and a doze in front of the telly (must get one for its miraculous soporific effects).

I'll see your comfy cardigan and raise you a pair of cool cotton pajamas and clean fresh smelling bed sheets.
