A YouTube Poll!!!?!?!?!!?
Which gets more votes?
The Roches, "Hammond Song", live in 1983 (ignore the irritating trrrrrrr for twenty seconds at the start and six at the end)?
Or the Proom Mononster, speech to the National Council of Voluntary Organisations, 2007? Did you know there was one? Don't ask, one of what?
A newly new type of politics. Goody goody gumdrops.
Guess who is winning.

My goodness, The Roches vs G. Brown in a vote off. That's like a choice between taking Hemlock or Polonium 210. If we want to examine 1980s female bands lets take a look at this lot:

(Personally I fancied the bass player -but then I'm superficial and predictable)
Vixen look a deal more approachable than the Roches, who always frightened me a little.
But I admit to loving their first album, and I don't care how much Street Cred it costs me.
Chertz: I've got a few albums I won't crow about including offerings by The Sweet and The Corrs (don't tell everybody, though).
Now I must get off this computer and get to the airport. Argh!
Argh ??????
I will try to line up some more of my dubious 70s and 80s picks for you, for when you get back.
