Celebrity Norks

To whom do these Celebrity Norks belong?

Why, to Chesty Morgan

otherwise Liliana Wilczkowska.

The really horrible thing about these Norks is what they have to say, yes, say, about the English.

"Chesty" in English implies at best a persistent cough brought on by smoking roll-ups all through a warm damp winter.

At worst we are thinking: bronchitis, tuberculosis, badgers. We want to keep them away from our cattle.

They are a bit wonky aren't they? I much preferred the videos starring her lesser known sister Rumpy Morgan. Her Deadly Weapons was much more convincing.

I think she's doing some sort of juggling act. What could be less erotic?

Rumpy, though, I could go for.

I have to confess to seeing a Chesty Morgan film c1976, for the sole purpose of salacious bravado. In my defence I was very young at the time. It was unspeakably dire and I remember it grossed me out (something to do with her "norks" looking like blue-veined sacks of potatoes). Defintely nothing erotic.

Salacious bravado, yeah, I did that too. Quite a lot. Emmanuelle, Robin Askwith and "Confessions of" a whatever it was, Wossname Whitehouse co-starring all the Carry On actors who never made their own careers...

Og God it was so grubby and sad.

And don't anyone jump in and tell me that Alvin Purple (1973) was more of an early Australian oeuvre than an expense of spirit in a waste of shame.

An oeuvre by an auteur, goes without sayin'

Even I don't remember Alvin Purple...(IMDB hasn't managed to jog the grey matter, either).

From the CIA-vetted Wikipedia...

The film is a sex-farce which follows the misadventures of a naïve young Melbourne man Alvin Purple (Blundell) whom women find irresistible. He must try (unsuccessfully) to resist legions of women who want him.

Alvin is so worn-out he seeks psychiatric help to solve his problems. His psychiatrist is, of course, a woman.

An existential dilemma, or predicament anyway. So obviously this is Aussie Arthouse and not just a mucky movie.
